Dr. David M. Girardi

David Girardi, OD

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ithaca College and Doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston.

He began his Optometry career at the Center for Sight in Venice, Florida before returning back to the Central New York area. He worked as an optometrist in several different capacities for both optometry and ophthalmology before taking over his current practice here in East Syracuse over ten years ago.

Dr. Girardi looks forward to continuing to provide excellent eye care to the East Syracuse community. He is certified to treat and manage various eye diseases and uses updated technology to aid in helping diagnose various disease conditions. His practice specializes in contact lenses including: bifocal soft lenses, gas permeable and newer design lenses to help with myopia progression control.


Dale Clemens, Optician

Dale Clemens is an experienced NYS licensed optician who has been in the profession for over thirty years and worked with Dr. Girardi for over ten.

He received his associates degree in Applied Science from Mater Dei College in 1985. He also earned his certification in contact lens fitting through the National Board of Contact lens Examiners.

He is an active member of the NYS Society of Opticians where he is currently and has been president for several years.
